"LIVE A LIFE OF SIGNIFICANCE!" - RM
The RM Legend - Do it with Passion!™
Living a Life of
Significance.
Throughout our lives we have been touched by people of
significance - family, friend or stranger. In fact, every
year of our lives we come in contact with a handful of people
that are truly extraordinary. Our walk and the impact we
make upon one another is what Renaissance Men is about.
Renaissance Men is about the quest, the journey and the significant sharing and community that truly we enjoy. Friends share books that we must read, food that we must try, products that we must buy, places and people we must visit, hobbies we must take up and all of this sharing is about feeding the soul of the Renaissance Men.
Renaissance Men reconnects CEO back to his or her roots as a wannabe teenage rocker or introduces the passionate grill master with the recipes of the Bayou. Renaissance Men holds family in the high regard and is ever mindful of our differences and the importance of character, responsibility and respect for the entire world and the creatures who call it home.
Renaissance Men grows by sharing our last great experience or lesson and is strengthened by our memorializing those areas of significance in our lives. Renaissance Men is about Passion!
About Renaissance
Men
For family men, whisky aficionados, spiritual leaders, chefs, wine makers, cowboys, boaters and so many others, www.Renaissancemen.com aka www.DoItWithPassion.com, arguably the hottest thing to be created for the over 30 crowd in some time, is ready to carve its niche. Renaissance Men provides the ability to build a profile around your expertise, passions and then capture and share related content which members created. Better yet it is rich in member driven content focused on the life passions of its members and is free of any advertising.
Many of us are intrigued by the rich life experiences, skills and knowledge so many friends and acquaintances have to share and we are all blessed with the opportunity to continue learning and sharing. As we get older and time seems more precious it seems that our time is invested in areas of "significance" in our lives. Our careers are what we love doing, time with our family and friends is cherished and we are passionate about the activities in our lives. This is true whether our passion is cigars, poker, distilled spirits, surfing, travel, cooking, music, faith, family, reading, writing, boating, wine, fishing, philanthropy, golf or any other area of our life.
To assist us in exploring our own passions outside of our work a few friends and I created this web based community with the help of the talented team at Alpine Internet Solutions in Bend , Oregon .
The site is intended to help connect people throughout the world based upon our shared experiences and passions. My Blog/personal web page is available here . Chuck Goldstein's (CRESA Partners-Houston) offers custom knives at this link......very cool tools and something he is really passionate about. The ultimate goal is that the site builds itself. Search the site and find results such as the following examples: Wine , Italy , Recipes , Outdoor Cooking or Oregon, and feel free to try your own search.
As the site grows you may find a member who was born in Brazil, living in Los Angeles, with travel expertise in Mexico, France and Panama, Passions include Auto Racing and who just wrote a great story about Cuban cigars. We all appreciate great recommendations for restaurants, attractions and RM is about connecting with people who have a particular expertise, such as dry curing meats, Marlin fishing or the best way to put on a New England Clam Bake. CONNECTING US IS WHAT THE SITE IS ALL ABOUT.
If there is a story about the best New England Clam Bake you can write a feature and it will be attached to your profile or if you would like to suggest a company that deserve to be on the site because of its tradition, innovation or quality such as Leatherman Tool , Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, Gerstner Chests , Evo Grills , Riva Boats to name a few?
The site is also about the recognition that our legacy and our place in this world today is defined by our relationship with and the examples we set for others. How we treat and respect family, friends, coworkers and all the people we meet sets the stage for a life that is either fulfilling or mired in mediocrity. The soul of the site is in the area titled Responsibility and is intended to focus on good human sort of stuff like: Responsibility, Honesty, Courage, Respect, Character, Valor, Adventure, Experience, Leadership and Creativity.
In fact, on virtually every page you will see these links allowing you either add an article or write a feature related to RM Events or you may contribute an idea for a company or topic that we have not yet covered in this area. Our goal is to make this most relevant for you and our other members. Share your passion and your expertise....
To protect the quality of the community you must join and be a member to contribute...
Renaissance Men asks What’s Your Passion?™
and remember that whatever your do in life, Do it With
Passion™…
For those focused on a life of significance…this is
what you have been waiting
for!
